Accessibility statement

Henlytics wants every farm manager, technician and buyer to be able to use this site, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology. This statement sets out what has been done, what is known to be imperfect, and how to reach us.

Standard

The site is built to WCAG 2.1 level AA. That target covers people with blindness or low vision, deafness or hearing loss, cognitive and learning disabilities, limited movement, and photosensitivity.

What has been done

  • Every function works with a keyboard, and menus close with Escape.
  • A skip link to the main content is the first thing a keyboard reaches on every page.
  • Focus is visible on every link, button and form field.
  • Text and controls meet AA contrast ratios, and the colour palette is documented with measured contrast figures.
  • Headings follow a proper outline, and pages use semantic HTML landmarks.
  • Images have text alternatives; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Every form field has a visible label, and form errors are announced.
  • Pages are available in English, Spanish and Hebrew, with a right-to-left layout for Hebrew.
  • The layout reflows on small screens and at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
  • Animation stops when your device is set to reduce motion.

Known limitations

  • The poultry house drawing on the home page is described by a text caption and its sensor labels are real links, but the drawing itself is not read element by element.
  • The alert cards inside the drawing change on a timer and are hidden from screen readers; the same information is in the text of the page.
  • Third-party tools, such as the accessibility toolbar and WhatsApp, are outside our control.

Accessibility toolbar

A UserWay toolbar is available on every page. It can change text size and spacing, increase contrast, switch to a dyslexia-friendly typeface and highlight links. It loads without asking for consent, because a tool someone needs to read the page should not sit behind a banner. It adds to the accessibility built into the pages; it does not replace it.
